Winter Bridal Session | Titpon, MI

I always love when I get a chance to try something new, and take a chance and go out of my comfort zone. Usually, it ends up with something great as the outcome. This shoot was no different.

I always complain about the snow in Michigan, I have never been a fan of the cold and I wear sweaters when it is 80 and sunny out in the summer. But, I do have some serious love for how the snow looks in the winter. Which was my inspiration behind this session.

Even though it is beautiful, winter is the time of year where few people book. I wanted to show Michiganders, and others that have snow, to take advantage of it. Schedule sessions, even if it is only for 20 minutes, sometimes some of the best images are with the snow. There are some truly beautiful themes you can do with winter.

Of course, I planned this for the middle of December and with Michigan being its usual self, it was in the 50s the day this shoot came up. So, thank the heavens for Photoshop to achieve what I wanted.

I had some amazing models to work with. Personally, I have known Ariana for year, as we went to school together and we have collaborated on a few different shoots. Josh, her fiance, I have only worked with once before and that was during their family photos. Regardless, they were absolute perfection and it makes me excited for them to finally tie that knot!
