Self Portraits of Motherhood Part 27-52 | Tampa Lifestyle Photographer | Florida Family Photographer

I can’t believe that 2018 is already over with! Is it just me or did the year go by super fast for anyone else?

The second half of our year was full of visiting so many different areas. We went to North Carolina for my best friend’s wedding, to Florida to pick a house to move to, and other states in the Midwest just for the fun of it…

Self Portraits of Motherhood Part 1-26 | Michigan Lifestyle Photographer

I am so surprised with how fast the first half of 2018 went. I’m not sure if it is because I am so busy with life that the days just keep passing by or because it really is true that the older you get the faster time goes by. I am hoping it is not the second one because I don’t want AJ to grow up that fast just yet…

Nina + Mae | Boutique

I have been working on something the past few months that I am so excited to share!

If you know me personally, you know that I love coffee, fashion, dream catchers, and floral. Not in any particular order, though from my height it is assured that coffee is number one. I have always wanted to open a boutique and have contemplated this idea for years...

Project 365 | December

I have spent the past three years exploring parenthood and the vulnerabilities that it brings. My thesis closed the chapter on insecurity and opened a new one for me to document parenthood in a new way. This year, I decided to showcase parenthood as it is. Each day I will capture a photograph from a moment in my family's personal life. They won't be perfect because, like life, nothing is, you take what you can get. This year will bring many journeys for my family, and I can't wait to share them with you.

2017 | A Year In Review

2017 has been a year full of amazing adventures, some great friendships, and some not so amazing learning experiences. I have watched my business grow and prosper, I have had the chances to travel across the United States, and I feel like I have learned so much more this year than any of the other before it.

A Snowy Day | Jackson, MI

It’s December in Michigan, which usually means cold negative weather..

Not this year, the good ol' Mitten State had other plans. The fall time was non-existent and then we have had temperatures in the 50s even in what are usually the coldest months of the year. Not that I am complaining over here, I am not a fan of the cold at all. I blame my North Carolina blood for that...

Those Late Summer Nights | Jackson, MI

Sometimes, we don't need the beach days and a family get away to relax and spend time with one another. Many times, though it would be nice to, we can't make time, we can't coordinate schedules, we just can't get away from the hustle and bustle of our regular world. It sucks, because when do you really find the time to just relax and enjoy yourself while we are all still young?

Take The Time To Slow Down

The summer has been an incredibly busy one for our family; full of road trips, adventures, and making new friends. Though it has been an experience, it was good when we finally got to just relax at home and just work our way into a normal routine again. With doing this, I have been able to actually sit and observe as AJ interacts with the world around him.

My Bucket List

I think it is normal for people to have a list of things they want to do: Go skydiving, swim the barrier reef, travel to Europe.. The list can go on. I have my own version of this list for myself, as I am a huge wanderluster and I love to travel and explore. (Although, scratch sky diving off that list, I know I would chicken out) ...
